Pie Terms of Service

Effective date: October 25, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of Pie, an expense-tracking app provided by PaymentsWani (“PaymentsWani,” “we,” “us”). By using Pie, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. What Pie does

Pie is designed to help you record and review personal expenses. It is a record-keeping tool, not a bank, payment service, accounting service, or provider of financial, tax, investment, or legal advice. You are responsible for decisions you make using information in Pie.

2. Your records and device

Expense records you enter in Pie are stored on your device and are not synced to PaymentsWani’s servers. You are responsible for keeping your device secure and for any backup or export options available on your device. A device reset, app removal, or loss or damage to your device may remove records stored there. PaymentsWani cannot restore records it does not receive.

3. Sign in with X

Pie offers Sign in with X for authentication. Your use of that sign-in service is also subject to X’s terms and policies. Keep your X account secure. PaymentsWani does not receive your X password. Pie does not use X to post on your behalf or access your posts, direct messages, or contacts.

4. Acceptable use

Use Pie only for lawful personal expense tracking. Do not interfere with the app or its security, attempt unauthorized access, misuse another person’s account, or use Pie in a way that violates applicable law or another person’s rights.

5. Our app and intellectual property

PaymentsWani and its licensors retain rights in Pie, including its software, branding, and materials, except for rights that belong to others. We give you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use Pie for its intended purpose while you comply with these Terms. You keep any rights you have in information you enter into Pie.

6. Availability and changes

We may update, suspend, or discontinue parts of Pie, and may change these Terms as the app develops. We will post updated Terms on this page and change the effective date. If a change materially affects your use, review the updated Terms before continuing to use Pie. You may stop using Pie at any time.

7. Disclaimer

Pie is provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, PaymentsWani makes no warranties that Pie will always be available, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be limited.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, PaymentsWani is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from your use of Pie, including loss of locally stored records. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where the law does not allow that exclusion or limitation.

9. Ending use

You may stop using Pie at any time and remove it from your device. We may restrict or end access if you materially breach these Terms or if we discontinue Pie. Ending use does not affect provisions that by their nature continue to apply, including ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits.

10. Applicable law

These Terms are subject to the mandatory laws that apply where you live. Nothing in these Terms removes consumer protections that cannot be waived under applicable law.

11. Privacy

Our Pie Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use Pie and the PaymentsWani website.

12. Contact

Questions about these Terms can be sent to PaymentsWani through the PaymentsWani contact form.
